OUR BIG NEWS!!
I know many of you are saying What?? Why?? How???
Mike and I have been on this journey for over a year now. God has been calling us, woeing us to something BIG!! About 6 months ago, He revealed it to me by breaking my heart for orphans. And then breaking my heart for a precious little girl in China. I prayed for what seemed like months before I approached Mike with what God had laid on my heart. Mike was on board immediately. I thank the Lord for this daily.
My heart is filled with an overwhelming Love for a daughter that I haven't seen yet but God choose for us long before the earth was set into place.
Why China?
Because that's where our daughter is. It just feels right. God has given us peace and affirmation that she is in China. We are on a faith journey with Christ. We know he will lead us to this precious little girl.
We are in the very beginings of the adoption process, it will take 12-18 months for this to become final. We are asking for support and prayers from our family and friends as we work through this process and for our little girl that could already be in an orphanage in China.
Philippians 4:6 -Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
Matthew 21:22 - And all things you ask in prayer and believing you will recieve.
Again, I can't tell you how excited we are to share this with all our family and friends.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS...
So, I said I wanted to share with you how God is present in our lives. It always amazes me that if we just keep our eyes open we will see Him around us. Well, Matthew started Kindergarden a few weeks ago, yes I did cry my eyes out, my baby is growing up. He's lovin it and I'm adjusting to the routine (getting up at 6am) and not having him around as much. Oh how I miss summer time. After we went to meet Matthew's teachers and see his class room, we decided to treat the kids to dinner at a restaurant. As we left the school it was very dark with heavy rain clouds. Matthew says, "it's gonna rain and we are gonna see a rainbow". Well, I just thought yes it is gonna rain but I doubt we see a rainbow. As we drove around the school, what did we begin to see...
We couldn't believe it.. As we drove toward the restaurant we saw the complete rainbow.. I don't think I had ever seen a rainbow so brillant and full. You see I was very anxious that Matthew was starting school. It was like God was saying " I love you, all is gonna be okay". I love rainbows and have since I was a teenager. This picture doesn't do this rainbow justice, I took it on my phone. Once we were inside it rained and rained...but the rainbow was still there.
Matthew was mesmerized by this rainbow. It was beautiful. We had a great meal and the boys had lots of fun as you can see...

We need to remember God is always with us. We just need to open our eyes and look around.
